The Ellaline Vincent Memorial Fund has donated to the following causes:

Wessex Heartbeat, who house the families of cardiac patients at Southampton General Hospital. Funds donated were in conjunction with Eloise Neville's Fundraiser on Una Grace's first birthday. You can read more about the special bond between Ellaline and Una Grace in an article, here.

Round Table Children's Wish

The Round Table Children's Wish grants wishes to children suffering from life threatening illnesses, providing a unique and positive experience to children when they most need it most. The charity granted Ellaline's life-long wish, to swim with Dolphins, which took place in Loro Parque, Tenerife. Ellaline and her friends also attended a party in Rubyz, Bournemouth, to raise funds and party in their pink limousines! Read more about Ellaline's wish on the Round Table Children's Wish website, and view the photos below:

Ellaline's friends, and her mother Jo, have remained actively involved in fundraising for the Round Table Children's Wish.

This has included some friends transforming themselves into "Ellaine's Wish Fairies" promote the Round Table Children's Wish Midnight Wish Walk, at The Dolphin Centre, Poole. This was all before a 10k walk along Bournemouth sea front, in April 2008 - raising £20,000.

In addition, Shona Brown hosted a Sweet Pea Tea Party, to mark the date that would have been Ellaline's Sweet Sixteenth birthday, raising over £1,000 for the cause. Guest included key individuals from Ellaline's life, including Diane Gulliford pupils from Wentworth College, and Dame Kitty!

Piam Brown Ward Fund

Ellaline and her mum Jo raised hundreds of pounds for the Piam Brown Ward Fund, through donations and the sale of wristbands which all of Ellaline's friends could be seen wearing.

More recently, representatives from Bournemouth Ballet Club, dancing for Ellaline, opened the Charity Fashion Show in aid of the Paim Brown Ward at Southampton. The event was hosted by Jill Price, at Sue Luminati's home in July 2008. Jo Hart spoke on behalf of the Piam Brown ward, and only £2,000 was raised.

Diane Gulliford School of Dancing

Small personal bursaries will be available to pupils of Diane Gulliford School of Dancing, where Ellaline trained for 12 years. Diane Gulliford, a recipient of the Royal Academy of Dance President's Award, teaches ballet, modern and tap to pupils of all ages. Many of her pupils progress to further dance and theatre training, and several are currently performing on the West End Stage.

Ellaline danced in several shows with the school, and it was her ''ultimate wish' to dance for Miss Gulliford at her performance titled "In Concert", in July 2007 at the Lighthouse. She fullfilled this dream, and mum Jo was able to watch Ellaline dance 'en pointe' for the first time.

After the final performace, Ellaline presented Diane Gulliford with a thank you card from all of her pupils, as mum Jo watched from the wings. The Ellaline Vincent Memorial Fund was pleased to be able to make Diane Gulliford's surprise retirement party possible, in July 2008.

Bournemouth Ballet Club
www.bournemouthballetclub.co.uk

Ellaline joined Bournemouth Ballet Club in 2002 and was an active member, gaining not only performance skills but also lasting friendships. It is the oldest teaching and performing ballet club in Europe and celebrates it's 60th year in 2007.

The organisation is entirely self-funding, and meets monthly for master classes with visiting teachers from across the country. Shows, featuring entirely original choreography, are performed in alternate years. The Ellaline Vincent Memorial Fund will assist with funding for specific events such as masterclasses and shows, so that future dancers can benefit from Bournemouth Ballet Club in the same way that Ellaline did.

Their February 2008 show, titled "Step by Step" will be dedicated to her memory, and at all future performances, one dance will be performed in memory of Ellaline. The Performing Arts were close to Ellaline's heart, and as such a portion of the monies raised by the Ellaline Vincent Memorial Fund will go towards dance foundations such as Bournemouth Ballet Club.

So that Ellaline could play a part in the 2008 show, she was asked to pose for a photograph to be used to advertise the production. To view this, and more photos, view the Bournemouth Ballet Club page here.

The memorial fund also hopes to support the Poole and District Childrens' Cancer Fund,
